Using the same infrastructure as our enterprise-grade IoT Pro connectivity, Viasat’s PTT Pro gives you crystal-clear push-to-talk (PTT) audio communications along with ample data carriage to support telemetry and even a Wi-Fi hotspot. You can also switch seamlessly between satellite, terrestrial mobile networks and line-of-sight radio infrastructure for reliable connectivity without the expense. This enables personnel in challenging locations to stay connected and safe by terrestrial or satellite networks and to send location or asset tracking data in one bundled service.
For maximum integration possibilities, PTT Pro is also interoperable with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) and - with some basic integration steps - P25 networks.
